Dreams of Joy Foundation is a nonprofit organization created in honor of James Bess, an Army veteran who battled terminal brain cancer. Inspired by his desire to experience joy and connection during his final years, the foundation helps adults with life‑threatening illnesses fulfill meaningful dreams and experiences. The organization exists to ensure that adults, like children, have the opportunity to enjoy life to the fullest despite serious medical challenges, offering emotional uplift, memorable experiences, and compassionate support.
