The Dream Factory, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and the largest all‑volunteer children’s wish‑granting organization in the United States that does not limit services to children with life‑threatening illnesses. Since 1980, the organization has granted dreams for children ages 3–18 who are critically or chronically ill, recognizing that chronic illnesses also cause significant emotional and physical hardship. With 95.5% of all funds raised going directly toward granting dreams, the Dream Factory has earned 13 consecutive 4‑star ratings from Charity Navigator—an achievement reached by only 5% of evaluated charities. The organization operates through local chapters nationwide and invites families, volunteers, and supporters to refer a child, donate, or get involved.
